Molders Choice (Solon, OH), a provider of supplies for the injection molding industry for more than 30 years, has added Rhino Feet to its inventory of products. No need to alert the World Wildlife Organization—these are magnetized elevation pads designed by Rhino Products LLC to support machinery and heavy objects such as molds.

Rhino Feet offer an easy, safe and efficient solution for elevating and storing heavy objects. The plastic foot has a molded-in magnet that sticks to ferrous metal objects. The bottom side is a molded steel insert to allow the feet to stack for easy storage.

Rhino Feet provide a safe alternative to stacking wood pallets and wood blocks, mitigating tripping hazards and taking up less floor space, said Molders Choice. The feet can be applied to individual work pieces such as molds, machines, toolboxes, cabinets, benches, tables and other heavy objects. The supports may be applied when the object is suspended, eliminating the need to bend over to place the feet on the floor, thereby mitigating worker injury.

Rhino Feet come in sizes ranging from 2 to 4 inches in height; a mini version is coming soon. Safe workloads range from 630 to 7,000 pounds. The uniformity in size eliminates the need to match the height of random wood blocks or pallets from around the shop to stack objects evenly.

In addition to making it convenient for forklifts to access objects, Rhino Feet make disassembly and reassembly of injection molds easier, since they help keep ejector pins organized and protected.
