Experts have discovered the best cheap dehumidifier to help tackle a damp home, on sale for £12.97 for a five-pack on Amazon. As a double-whammy of freezing temperatures and soaring energy bills hits households this winter, more and more people are struggling to keep issues with condensation and damp and mould at bay.

Dehumidifiers can help tackle damp issues by extracting water from the air and reducing the level of humidity in your house. However, this can come at a hefty price. Luckily, experts have found one of the best dehumidifiers can be bought for a bargain price. Consumer experts at bestproductreviews.co.uk have rounded up the 10 best dehumidifiers in the UK this month - and one product was branded 'excellent' after it scored an impressive 9.2 stars out of 10.

The ANSIO Dehumidifier, which you can buy on Amazon for £12.97 for a pack of five here, scored a 9.9 for its sound level, a 9.5 for simplicity to use, and a 9.3 for how long it lasts. Reviewers confirmed the dehumidifier helped to remove dampness from the air, combatting condensation and mould effectively, and could be used in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms and basements, as well as garages and even boats.

Amazon customers have been similarly impressed with the product, rating it 4.4 out of 5 stars and praising how easy it is to use. "Take off lattice lid, remove one layer of foil, replace lattice lid and put where required," explained one customer, who said they use the devices throughout their house, often for up to six months, but warned people only to use them in small spaces.

"We have been using these dehumidifiers on our small boat and they have collected a large amount of water. We regularly replace them but they have really helped keep any mould at bay," wrote someone else. "These 100% do the job and highly recommend!!" said another person, adding: "I have one in each room and they do a great job!! I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my home."
